Infectious diseases

Intro

Infectious diseases have always been around us. For decades, until a person has one, knows someone who has one, or there is an outbreak of one, people don’t think about them. They just carry out their daily lives oblivious to the dangers around them. Martial artists have been the same way.

COVID-19

With the advent of the novel coronavirus and the worldwide spread of CODVID-19 disease, everyone is now aware of infectious diseases, and protecting ourselves against them has become a part of our daily lives. Martial schools now must take steps to protect their staff and students from infectious diseases and the staff and students must take steps to protect themselves.

Change is inevitable

After the 9/11/2001 attacks on the United States, many changes were made to protect the country and its citizens. At first, there was an overreaction and some changes were overly strict, but over time the changes were evaluated; some went away, some were modified, and some were added. Now. the changes that remained have become a part of our everyday life. So it will be in our response to the COVID-19 pandemic, after a lot of overreaction, modifications, additions, and deletions some of the changes made will become part of our everyday lives.
Martial arts and all other physical and spectator sports will adapt to these changes. What the martial arts and other sports will be like in the future is still unclear, but things will not be the same.
