Vajramushti (India)

"Diamond fist boxing" is a form of pugilism was reputedly developed by the Brahmin Caste of Western India around the 9th or 10th century. Blows were only permitted to the face and chest and were delivered using a single set of metal knuckles worn on one hand. The knuckles generally bore the pronged pyramid design, hence the name "diamond fist boxing." Needless to say, serious injuries and deaths contributed to the decline in popularity of its practice. The art reputedly still has a small but loyal following who hold yearly bouts in the Gujurat region of India.
