ITF pattern set
Intro
This is the Chang-hon (blue cottage) pattern set used by the International Taekwondo Federation (ITF) and many other organizations. According to Choi, these patterns were derived from "the most illustrious people to have been produced by nearly five thousand years of Korean history and each movement in a pattern must express the personality and spiritual character of the person it is named after." Therefore, a taekwondo practitioner should know the history of the person the pattern was named for.Note: Select a pattern link for more information about the history, movements, and performance of the pattern.
